The Greater Pocono Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., in partnership with the East Stroudsburg University's Office of Accessible Services, the Center for Multicultural Affairs and Inclusive Education, and local autism advocacy organizations, is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Unifying the Community: We Are One Walk & Fundraiser.

This inspiring event will take place Saturday, April 11th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg.

We invite community members of all ages to participate in a 1-mile walk, designed to highlight unity, inclusion, and support for individuals and families touched by autism. The event features a panel discussion with leading autism experts, sensory museum experiences, STEAM stations, face painting, DJ music, bounce houses, and local vendors — making it a fun family-friendly day of “friend-raising” and fundraising.

Proceeds will benefit key local and national organizations, including: Jack and Jill of America Foundation, East Stroudsburg University OASIS, East Stroudsburg University CMAIE, Pocono Autism Society & The Color of Autism Foundation.

“We are thrilled to bring together community partners, families, educators, and advocates to raise both awareness and resources for autism support here in the Poconos,” said Katiera Grundy, Chapter President. “This event honors the diversity, strengths, and experiences of individuals with autism while strengthening community bonds.”
