Preparing to Open the Garden of Giving!

March is finally here! Daylight Saving Time will be begin on March 8th; that's always a sign that the Garden will soon be getting ready to reopen. Save the date of April 11, when the Garden will be open from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Throughout April, the Garden will be open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. 

   Many thanks go to the new volunteers who responded to last month's story in the West End Happenings! A man will be arriving as soon as weather allows to begin pruning the two dozen fruit trees - a very necessary job. And a woman adept at IT (technology) has stepped up to help in the office. All that is needed now is someone who likes to talk on the phone to call volunteers and keep schedules coordinated.

   In 2026, the theme of the Garden will be 'Acts of Kindness', so it's a great time for area volunteers, church and youth groups to join the Garden and help to get things growing!
