~ Sunday worship services are held at 8:30am, and 11:00am. The 8:30am service is also being live-streamed and can be viewed by going to the church webpage: effortumc.org
~ Young Adult (ages 19-25) Group: 3rd Sunday of each month at 6:00pm. Call the church office for more information.
~ Youth Group: For those in 3rd to 12th grade. Our next meetings are April 14th and 28th. Youth Group is normally held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoons from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. For more information contact the church office and we’ll help you get started!
~ Missions Outreach Auction will be held on Saturday, April 6th starting at 6:00pm (preview of items at 5:00pm). This is a fun evening of fellowship and fundraising for our local, national & international Missions. Items include: homemade crafts/gifts, themed baskets, gift certificates to local business, etc. Snacks are available. Bring a friend or two.
~ Chicken BBQ Dinner: Annual Chicken BBQ Seasoned Dinner will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 3:00pm to 6:30 pm. Adult meals include: ½ chicken, potato, corn, coleslaw or applesauce, roll, & dessert for $12.00. Child’s meal includes the ¼ chicken potato, corn, coleslaw or applesauce roll & dessert for $6.00 (ages 4 to 12). Under 3 are free. Eat in or take out. To guarantee a meal call the church office prior to April 25th. Mark your calendar you won’t want to miss this!
~ Grief Share Program (turning your Mourning into Joy): New group is starting on Monday April 29th at 12:30pm. This program is 1½ hour session per week and is for 12 weeks. Please contact the church office to register by calling 570-629-1890 or by emailing: eumc103@ptd.net
~ Flea Market: Saturday, May 4th from 9:00am to 2:00pm in our Pavilion. This is a rain or shine event. Lunch and baked items will be available for sale. Contact Michelle Wichman at 570-992-6306 to reserve a space and/or table. Space is $15, or with our table $20. Call soon as under cover/inside spaces are limited and going fast.
